22 in Koh Samui

Aaron's 22nd birthday was celebrated in Koh Samui, Thailand (Southeast island of Thailand). I'm pretty sure it was his best birthday (: Most of these pictures are from his birthday, but some are from the other 5 days we stayed on the island. 

Finally made it to the island! This airport is completely outdoors. No walls!

Then we went to ride elephants. This one snuck up on my dad and slobbered all over his new UVA hat.

Then we went to watch MUAY THAI!!!

We witnessed many knockouts and some blood.

And the fights were CRAZY!

This little kid fought hard and it looked like he was going to lose BIG TIME... until... he spun around an nailed the other kid right in the head with his elbow! And the kid was down for the count. It was amazing. And he celebrated and ran around the stadium posing for pictures and giving high fives... it was awesome.

We all had a great time. I can't wait to go back.
