SATURDAY MORNING.

i woke up this morning more tired than usual. the sun wasn't out. it still isn't out, but i'm more awake now thanks to a few cups of tea, kisses from my girl, and a visit from an old friend. we are on nap #2, i'm eating lunch, and getting ready for the afternoon. i can't wait for it to get warmer. we've been trying to get outside at least once a day. it's still pretty chilly here in chicago, but we are doing it. rorie is a trooper and really loves to explore- thank goodness! and the sight of my two main ladies this morning made my heart happy. they love to play with each other- or just watch baby einstein vhs tapes. it's adorable.

RIGHT NOW.

it has taken 7 months for baby girl to start taking naps. they started off being no longer than 15 minutes and then 30. and it was a fight to get those small minutes of sleep for her. it was awful all around. now she averages 1 hour twice a day. i love to peek in her tiny bedroom after she's stopped stirring to see how she fell asleep. it's always cute. usually butt up in the air. andy under her arm. paci freshly fallen from her lips. and nowadays she has a little sleeping buddy under her chair. mister cago loves to keep her company. or vice versa.
